Super 8 by Wyndham Dodgeville

We'll never stay at a Super 8 by Windam again. Ever. Very poor experience due to company policies. Very poorly lit due to thier "green initiative." My wife had trouble seeing to put her Male up on, I had trouble seeing to shave. All light bulbs are CFL's. They are very dangerous when they break. In addition to this there a re veryfew electrical outlets available. Not enough to plug in our phones and tablets. If they were so concerned about being "green" then why didn't they replace the several blown out thermal pane windows? It looks like t,hey are just being cheap. Next is the real inconvience is the staff only cleaning the rooms every 3 days. I don't mind cutting a few corners to save money, but do you really need to cut all of these? No charging station in this day and age? Maybe one more outlet? Or a mirror you can see yourself in? Terrible excuse for a budget motel.

I've been staying here a couple times a year for two years and it has gone downhill in cleanliness and maintenance. Room smelled terribly musty and a bit like cat pee in one corner. Area around toilet was dirty with recent orange colors. I didn't feel that anything in the room, including shower, was sanitized between guests. Disgusting. This place needs a deep, deep clean. Clean towels and trash removal was provided only once in 4 days. I could not connect to the internet with my laptop here and the provider's customer support couldn't help, elevated my issue to a higher up, but I never got a call back. I won't be staying here again.
