Platinum One LLC

Not very professional. James Kosmatka thinks he is Elvis or something, has weekly conference calls which never helped the reps, he just spent 45 minutes every week telling us all how great we are and the product is. His wife is the brains of the operation, but she constantly defends his emotional insecurities and turns on the reps. It took forever to get a new lease approved, the customer would get tired of waiting and take it out on the reps. All this because the Kosmatkas don't want you to realize that they are making around $4000 per deal. Tacky ways of doing everything. I'm glad they are dissolved, but they are probably still doing business. Stay away from these con artists.

WOW!!! I can't believe this company is still in business. We began working with Platinum One LLC from Brookfield, WI a year after opening our store. Platinum One LLC offers in-house payment program services - however, they do NOT provide the equipment necessary to process such transactions. Instead, they set us up with this worthless company (Northern Leasing Systems, NY) to lease POS equipment. As a separate company, we were required to pay different fees. We initially agreed on $109 per month for the next four years. BUT of course, they failed to mention that insurance, tax, invoice fees AND an annual fee were not included in the amount we had agreed upon. These extra charges increased my monthly payment to $140, resulting in a total of $6,720 after the four-year term. Come to find out, after some research, the total cost of the POS equipment is roughly about $350 online! RIP OFF! Story continues. After six months, not a single client, out of several that applied for financing, were approved by Platinum One LLC. This, of course, resulted in our inability to make any use of the POS equipment. I decided to cancel services with Platinum One LLC, as they were of no service to my clients or me. When I asked James (CEO/Owner) what I should do about the unused equipment, they basically said: "Not our problem." Needless to say, we took action against this company. We hired a lawyer for about $1,500 and ended up regretting that as well. The lawyer was not very helpful and wasn't able to achieve what we wanted. Since James was unable to help and avoided all my phone calls and emails, I'm writing this review for Jame's to understand that taking advantage of small businesses across the United States is just plain wrong. They are liars, thieves, and will slowly screw you while you're paying them to do so. NOT TO BE TRUSTED, DIRTY OWNERSHIP, DIRTY COMPANY, STAY AWAY!
