Dishonest and looking to take advantage of you.
Brought my sled in after a trip up north revealed a noise (just purchased the sled). Stopped at a local shop where a 25+ year snowmobile repair veteran said it was the clutch or the crank. Unfortunately I couldn't leave it for him to fix so I brought it down here instead. I received a call from C&R that I'm already $400 in because the carbs were cleaned (but I just cleaned them), belts tightened, carbs adjusted, etc. So why would this work be done when I brought it in for the noise? I'm told because they needed to get it running first which I'm told is a bunch of BS! Not to mention that I started it to get it in the trailer just before bringing it to them. Then the guy dismantles the entire machine and imagine that....it's the clutch and crank. Offers me $200 for my machine but this includes the work they did to get it running and then taking it apart. My father in law said a few choice words and was glad he wasn't there. I packed up the "pieces" of my machine and left....but not before paying for the wonderful tune up. BEWARE!!!
