Wow I wish I had read this previous review before I tried to do business with this company. These people are total con artist. 100% Any money you send them will be gone. They belong in jail. They have no intentions of doing anything they say. At first they answered the phone calls and tried to drag me along. Then on my last call a woman I have never spoke to answered the phone and started talking about performing Sexual acts on the Owner of Silicon Valley Dave Bender.

These people are crooks, avoid them at all cost, they lie to you and steal from you. I sent them an Agilent vector network analyzer which had a faulty video card. They estimated the repair at around $1500 bucks, which was a great price. We packed it up in the very packing carton we had received it in and shipped it off. I got a call from them saying that UPS had literally destroyed it, broken the unit and that it was irreparable. They said they had taken pictures of the damage. which I asked to get copies of for my our records here but they never sent them. They then proposed a scheme where they would buy another "parts" instrument and combine our damaged one with that one to create a working unit-for $15,000. My institution took a look at that, noted we could get a much newer unit for about the same price and refused to sign off on it. I told Silicon Investigations the decision that had been made asked them to bill me for the diagnostics and anything they had done to evaluate the instrument, I wanted to make sure they were fully compensated.I also asked them to include in the bill the cost of shipping it back as I had to have it back. They provided me with and invoice and it was paid in full. The Instrument was never returned. I called and e-mailed numerous times and they avoided my calls in most cases and failed to return my e-mail. In one case they told me it had been shipped and they would send me the tracking number. There was no tracking number of course because they had intentionally kept the unit. What I don't know is whether it was all a con, and in fact the package had arrived in perfect shape (I never got the pictures verifying the damage) and they thought they could scam me for 15 grand or, when we turned down the repair deal they just figured they would steal the instrument and sell it off to make some revenue. Who know, but one thing is for sure, do not, I repeat, do not do business with them. I also note there is an unresolved BBB complaint for someone else that alleges much the same sort of illegal behavior.
