I have auto pay set up with this company. My bill jumped from 150 to 364 in one month. THAN they send me a notice a week (same month) after the payment saying I owe 150 or it's being shut February 12. In winter, right before a supposed snow storm with a house with 4 small children. I sat on hold for 45 minutes trying to contact someone just to be hung up on. Let's not forget to mention the "customer fee" and "pipeline demand charge" they hit you with every single month. Why am I paying to be YOUR customer? Be grateful I am your customer! People like me keep your business going! I'm disgusted with these people.
Psa!!! Do yourself a favor and find a different gas company! I wouldn't even give you a single star honestly, Mountaineer Gas.

Well , considering they have a monopoly & our government is a joke only working against the small business whilst propping up the gigantic octopuses who fill their campaign accounts with maddening amounts of loot no individual donor can compete with (nor should they) however due to the lack of laws being enforced & the strangle hold they have on our community, they evidently feel as though there's no reason to be upping their customer service game, I mean what are you going to do tell them to pound salt? I've recently purchased a large 4apt 2bed each apt building along with a wood shop. I've been trying to get gas on in any unit for almost months. Every 2days I call & get a new bogus story. I'm not bragging but how am I now supposed to pay a deposit after my tenth credit check showing my score of 800? What a joke

Would give zero stars if possible. Ive been trying for over a week to get service started at a new house I just moved into. No way to cook and no way to bathe my kids. Ive been on the phone with them every day multiple times a day, spoke to supervisors, no one will do anything. I was told someone would be there this morning (June 28th) and no one showed so I called again and was told that they came and no one was home so they left a card and left. There was no card and no one showed up at all. Was told they will come tomorrow morning but they cant give me a time and i doubt theyll show up this time either. Completely awful and unprofessional company.

Has to be the most difficult company to deal with. We were moving and only needed to transfer service to our new place. It was like pulling teeth out and breaking a leg at the same time. Customer service is awful. I love how there a monopoly and can extort money from the customer at there whim. I wish our new home at this point was all electric. We got to speak to 7 different CS reps and one supervisor and there was only 1 that was kind and comical and went above and beyond. We even got hung up on 2 times while waiting.
