We have always rented out the Victorian hall for every event, but with the new ownership I dont think we will rent it out again. During the entire allotted time we rented out the hall, the owner stayed and stared at our every move. We were very respectful of the venue as always. Cleaning up after ourselves & making sure that it looked exactly as it did when we arrived. Normally when you rent out a place you pay the agreed amount and the venue is yours for that time. Im not sure if this would bother anyone else, but I felt uncomfortable at my own event because of this. It upsets me because in the past weve had wedding receptions, graduation parties, bridal showers, and baby showers here & now I will have to look elsewhere for a venue.
