We went rafting and it was an excellent trip. Our guide Scotty O. asked us early if we wanted kid friendly or adult humor and he definitely delivered. The river was great and he only dumped us once! I don't know what jokes he tells in his G version of the trip but we were all appropriately amused. Definitely recommend, he's a great guy and knows his stuff.

My fianc and I took a trip to WV this past weekend and decided to do some whitewater rafting with ACE after reading many positive reviews. We were not disappointed! We did the full day trip on the Lower New River (perfect for Spring/early Summer rafting) and couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Our tour guide (Chickenhead) was as knowledgeable as we could have anticipated, but also just a really funny guy that had a positive attitude that fueled our full day of whitewater rafting. The lunch was surprisingly delicious and completely filled us up for the rest of the day, not like another rafting trip we took in PA where all we got was a ham sandwich and a chocolate chip cookie. I'm talking burgers, chicken, pasta, cookies, cheesecake, salad, PB&J, etc. The kitchen staff deserves a raise because I would pay for that meal if I was at a restaurant. We didn't stay at the resort, but definitely would be interested in coming back and staying for a weekend. Lots of outdoor activities! Give ACE a try if you are wanting a fun day out on the rapids.

Scotty O - you are an amazing guide! Highly recommend these guys. We had an amazing trip and it was made so much better by Scotty's rafting skills, wit, knowledge of the river and area in general! We will be back.

The high school that we brought here had a great time we had an extremely excellent meal before departure. Everyone is tired and planning on sleeping as we bring them back to Grand Rapids Michigan
