Nick at the Morgantown, WV, Office Depot store was extremely helpful. He walked us through the return of a defective item and the purchase of another filing cabinet. He looked at his cabinet inventory to answer very specific questions we had about a variety of cabinets and prices. He also brought the purchase to the front of the store helping us open the box to make sure the contents were not damaged. He recapped the box so we could transport it home with no trouble. He even wiped off the dark dust on the top and bottom of the box so we wouldnt stain the interior of our car. His above-and-beyond customer service is the reason we will continue to shop at The Office Depot!

The clerk was very helpful as I was checking out. Letting us know about the extra discount coming our way.

I am not sure why there is not a zero star option that would be great if there was. They sold me a defected printer. I got a replacement from Epson so I threw the receipt away, then found out that the replacement for the Epson printer was working fine, which was good, but then found out that the Epson printer that the person sold me at Office Depot (Who I now know is the manager) was not even compatible with my computer and my Wi-Fi after they had told me that it was before I bought it. So I called the store immediately and told them what was happening. The man over the phone told me to come in with the printer and they can look me up in the system and help me out. So I went in immediately after that phone call and spoke with an associate and he said there was nothing they could do to help. Thats not what I had just been told over the phone. So he called for a manager. A manager came over to the register and mumbled something that was hard to understand. He seemed like he didnt care and was upset about something. He completely ignored me and walked off. Didnt even acknowledge me. After this man walked off, the associate said he was on break and to come back in 20 minutes. I come back after 20 minutes (during that time I was on the phone with corporate and found out they could look me up in the system and help me). When I got back, I found out that the manager was the man who had walked up to the register before. I also found out that he was the man that I spoke with over the phone who said could help me. I went up to him and he said what can I help you with? pretending he had no idea why I was there. He said I needed to call corporate. I told him I already did that while he was on his break. Then he said ok and he has me insert my card into the machine like 4 times and gave me a refund. Im just a bit confused??? This was a very sketchy situation.

Went to store to print something, waited at counter for 5 minutes before being acknowledged by any person. Store was not busy and I was the only person in line and three people behind the desk. Then I asked for thicker paper to self print . I then asked for instructions on how to print. I was told by the employee just to put the thicker paper into side tray. I followed the instructions given by staff to print. However, when I clicked print the items came out on regular paper. I asked staff again and he said my bad, that was my fault. He then proceeded to change the paper tray to the correct one to print. However, transaction charged me for the reprint full amount in addition to the wrong printed item. Even though it was not my fault and he admitted to it being his fault for the misprint. When I asked him to refund the double cost he said yea sorry youre gonna have to pay. No way around it but Im sorry that was my fault. Although it is not a large sum of money - it is still money I worked hard to earn. Why should the customer have to pay for printing that was done erroneously by staff? I should have been refunded that amount. Never returning again! I personally prefer to go to FedEx printing services - just nothing available locally. Would not recommend this place for any printing.

I just stopped at this store to purchase Microsoft 365 (one time purchase, not a subscription). I took the card to the check out and the first person thought I needed something from the back, so he passed me on to a young man. This guy tried to tell me the card was for a one year subscription and I could buy it online cheaper. I took him back and showed him there was a difference between the one year subscription and one time purchase. He argued with me and treated me like I was an idiot. He said if he sold me that, it was a one year term and I would bring it back and act "pissy". I just got on the Microsoft website, and the one time purchase 365 is the exact thing I was trying to buy in the store for the same price. I will never come back to this store again.
