Dermatology Associates & Surgical Center - Martinsburg

I showed up for my appointment and the office said I was a day early. They blamed their scheduling call center and said they constantly get complaints about them but there is nothing they can do. The office said my correct appointment is 3/22 which is the following day, but they never called to cancel my appointment because the doctor is in Miami. Very unprofessional and no apologies offered.

Every time I schedule an appointment there they call to say they have to reschedule! Three times since December! I keep taking days off of work to go to these appointments! This is unprofessional and unacceptable!

This complaint is to make the office manager aware of the negative attitude of her office staff member who check out my daughter on July 29, 2022 before 12;00 noon. She seemed very rude rolling her eyes and speaking in a harsh tone of voice due to the nature of me not being able to set- up an upcoming appointment the day the doctor would be in which would be on August 14. I could not believe the ugly attitude she demonstrated. It is a shame the doctor is not at this office frequently to monitor and examine how staff members communicate and handle patients. The secretary really needs to be trained with proper etiquette when handling patients. She also should understand that individuals sometimes cannot make, and appointment and they have to set it up at a later time and date even if it means extending it out to another month.

I am not too certain where the negative reviews are coming from. From my experience, everything was done professionally. First time patient myself, I had two biopsies done. I was properly numbed, nurse did a great job of explaining everything that was going to happen before the biopsy procedure took place. I was given detailed instructions as to care for it as well. From my experience, I would ignore the terrible reviews. No where in my experience was it like that at all.
