Chris and Heidi were hands down the best photographers we have ever worked with. They were absolutely wonderful to work with from the start - from the initial phone call where I asked WAY too many questions, to the engagement session where they reassured us we really didn’t have too many outfit changes, to the wedding day where they went with the flow and showed up happy and ready. We were worried about being awkward in front of the camera but that fear subsided quickly at our first shoot with them. Within minutes we felt as if we’d known them for years and were laughing and having a great time. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect because of them capturing all of the small moments that made it “ours”. They were able to run interference when needed and make sure we were happy and comfortable with everything. We got our photos back quickly and my father summed it up best “These are the best wedding photos I’ve ever seen.” We will absolutely be reaching out to Chris and Heidi for future life milestones!

Chris and Heidi Ohta were the photographers for our wedding at Karma Vineyards in May of 2019. My husband and I were absolutely pleased with our choice in selecting them. Not only were they both amazing photographers with a keen eye for details, but they were very professional and wonderfully accommodating. They are also one of the sweetest couples you’ll ever meet. Communicating and scheduling meetings with them was hassle-free, as they are quick to respond to any questions and very flexible, understanding, and reasonable with meeting schedules. It is obvious that they love what they do, they truly have a passion for capturing breathtaking and heartwarming moments, and all this, while making sure their client’s experience is well-informed, stress-free, fun, and exciting. What originally attracted my husband and I to Chris Ohta Photography was the style and details that Chris captures and then brings out in his photo editing. Depending on what you desire, Chris is able to produce many different moods with a photograph. Whether it be lively with bright colors, calm and sentimental with black and white, or dynamic with darkened edges, blur-effects, or focal point edits and positioning, your photos will be absolutely beautiful and will share your story exactly how you remember. SERIOUSLY, THEY ARE GORGEOUS! He is very talented and I am absolutely in love with my wedding photos! My husband and I purchased the package where we had Chris and Heidi for 12 hours, with an additional 2-hour session for engagement photos. Unfortunately, we were not able to find the right timing for the engagement photos. However, Chris and Heidi have allowed us to save the couple hours for after the wedding and now we will be using it for a maternity shoot, because I am pregnant! The package also included a very high quality photo album that Chris and Heidi designed. We were allowed inputs and changes of course. They made sure we got every photo we desired. I highly recommend buying a package with the memory book, because the book is absolutely stunning. It is something my husband and I will cherish forever. Thank you Chris and Heidi!

Chris and Heidi are a wonderful team. I can't thank them enough for photographing our wedding. All the shots they took from first look to group photos to candids to details are such treasures. They are very professional and know their craft. I was worried that the hubs and I were going to be super awkward in front of the camera, but they reminded us to be just be ourselves and somehow managed to capture hundreds of picture perfect moments. Seriously. They made us look good.

Our experience with Chris Ohta photography started with my now husband searching for a photographer in Eastern WA for our engagement at Cave B Winery. What started as a simple google search turned into an amazing journey that will have our family reaching out for future photo ops. They captured the behind the scenes of our engagement beautifully and made us feel so comfortable in the pictures that followed. After our engagement shoot we had no doubt that we wanted to ask Chris and Heidi to travel to Woodinville for our wedding. Chris and Heidi were more than willing to travel over on numerous occasions to discuss the wedding, walk the venue with us, and of course be there on our special day. They welcomed all my Pinterest photos with ideas for bride and groom shots as well as lists involving family members that I wanted to be photographed with. One thing about their photography is that they give subtle cues of how to move or pose. It’s not overly instructed giving the photos a “real” feeling and plenty of candid moments. During our wedding the photographers allowed my husband and I space while still capturing the most beautiful and intimate moments. We appreciate their willingness to work above and beyond our wedding day to give us photos that will we treasure forever. I can say with complete honesty that out of the thousand or so photos we love them all! We are so thankful we had the opportunity to work with Chris Ohta photography and look forward to our next shoot with them!
