Rightway Construction Siding and Repair

Rightway Construction did a great job of installing hardiplank siding and replace the windows on our home. It looks great and their price was very competitive. Kevin and Amy were great to work with, and they went the extra mile to finishing the project on-time. I would highly recommend them.

UPDATE 11/23/2020: We’ve filed a complaint against Kevin’s CCB license in Oregon. FYI: He’s changed his business name from Rightway Construction to Kevin Scott Jaquith. UPDATE 10/22/2020: Kevin Jaquith is dishonest and untrustworthy. He stole materials we paid for! Despite repeated promises by Kevin’s wife, Amy Coley, we did not receive our windows on 10/21. At this point, I would be satisfied just to receive my windows, which could at least bring us close enough (counting labor for partial completion of work + materials on site) to the $10,901 paid to Kevin Jaquith. Sadly, it seems he feels he is entitled to take our money and leave the job unfinished and materials undelivered. I’ll be pursuing a complaint through CCB, and small claims court. I’m disappointed, but I will say I’m happy to have found a new contractor who has really come through for us with hard work, professionalism, and attention to detail...all things Kevin promised but somehow couldn’t deliver. They’ve even been able to fix issues we discovered with the partial work Kevin abandoned. Kevin Jaquith took $10,901 down on a $21,802 siding and window job. He finished the garage and small sections of the house over three weeks. Then he wanted another $5000. When we held him to his contract, which required 50% completion of work for next payment, he got confrontational and angry, swearing at my husband. Now he’s saying he’ll be keeping the windows for our job, and won’t give us back the funds for work not completed. He told my husband that he will deny that he received the money, though we have a signed contract. I’ll be filing a complaint with the contractor’s board in the 30 days allotted by the state and taking legal action. I don’t want others to be taken advantage of by this man. I’m disappointed, as I truly wanted to give my business to a small family-run company. Service: Remodelling

These guys are the nicest people! They completed our whole-house Hardiplank siding in Summer of 2012 and did a very diligent and thorough job.
