Had multiple project managers from Ironwood. Dealing with different parties led to frequent miscommunication. Weeks would go by with no progress. Needed to contact Ironwood frequently to request work get done. Subcontractors would come and go without direction and/or accountability from Ironwood. We are on Day 150 of our proposed 5 week project. There are no project managers on site starting about 2 months after we started. We must have had to redo multiple tasks at least 2-3 times because of poor communication. Cabinet guy took 3 months to get the cabinets delivered and left it there for another month. Then we noticed all the measurements were wrong so had to wait another month to even get them to start installing. Even with speaking to Alex and Jen, they no longer even want to communicate with us anymore. Their subcontractors don’t even come back to finish their jobs. I told Alex, my biggest fear of doing any contracting work is trust after hearing multiple friends have to fire and sue their contractors. Well, my fear has come true. Alex does not return phone calls; Jenn send her other project managers to do work. They don’t communicate with each other which has caused multiple mistakes. I feel like they have taken on more projects than they can actually do hence we get no communication. Their business tactic is also making lots of excuses for the delays including blaming us for it. Buyer beware. People can talk big, but can they deliver is the question. Highly recommend avoiding and I would be more than happy to discuss this further for anyone who has any hesitancy. I highly recommend Ironwood NW! Alex and his crew did an amazing job on my remodeling projects last year! I had several different projects which included a full kitchen remodel w/ new cabinets, counters & appliances, new stair railing, master bath and walk-in closet remodel, installation of new vanity and flooring in hall bath, new barn door, and outdoors new cedar deck and new Trex stairs to upper deck and installation of new upper deck railing. His crew showed up every day on time, and if they didn't, they would call and let me know why. They were friendly and polite, and I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
