Had them press in/out an engine mount bushing. It took them extra time because they went out of their way to custom machine a tool to press the bushing, but they only charged for the time it took to press the bushing which was a very fair amount. Would use them again without question.

i had a cylinder head for my chevy luv done by modralls 2 years ago after my dad recommended them for repairing the damaged crankshaft from his rv, and the work was excellent didnt have a single issue with it while i used it. im dropping my 4.3 chevy engine off there to be gone thru. i would recommend them for whatever work you need done

I'll never do business with them again. I dropped off a head and block for them to work on, not being sure if the head was good, asking them to pressure test it. They said it tested good, so all the other work was done. When I reassembled the engine, the head was definitely *not* good, as verified by another shop (big hole in one of the exhaust ports). Modrall's has cost me several hundred dollars of extra work and parts, due to them not properly testing the head (or just outright lying about it) EDIT: (revised to 3 stars) I have had a few visits with Mike over the last few days. While it still stinks that the initial test was skipped, he has helped me out and made the situation better, even got me some replacement gaskets at no charge for when this thing goes back together again.
