Closing. The store only had large furniture and pillows and the like and was half empty.

I was very disappointed to see how Pier 1 treated a blind customer recently. The manager made the employee who was assisting the customer clock out because they didnt want to pay her to spend time helping a customer who is blind. The employee was kind enough to volunteer to help the customer anyways, off the clock, but she really should have been paid for her time, especially since she helped the customer buy so much merchandise. I know they are going out of business and probably dont care about reviews, but I am hoping that the manager sees this and thinks about the decision they have made.
