This ,"Organic" practice is VERY expensive and considered "out of network " for most dental plans. Do your homework with your insurance carrier.. My cost estimates were sadly lacking from what I expected to be reimbursed. Unfortunately, my experience was less than accommodating. I had a titanium root canal removed in my upper jaw. This caused relentless draining and irritation because of the proximity to my sinus and my metal hypersensitivity.I was very sick for almost 10 days. When I contacted Dr.Calderon for help I was informed it wasn't her responsibility. The removal of the tooth was perfect! Side effects aren't related to the extraction surgery..?? At the very least, it would have been much appreciated to be a little nicer in the discussion of what might be done to help? The cost of the scan, x-rays and procedure was in the thousands for one tooth...one! Now I have a missing tooth that has cost me another $2k to replace with a partial I don't like. Metal allergy is a complicated problem. Buyer beware!

Shady, shady, shady. Went in for a cleaning told me it’s FULLY covered next thing I know I have a bill for over $100 for a cleaning because they stop taking my insurance MONTHS later! Never going there again, such a shame.

They have very shady & questionable billing practices. Make sure you know ahead of time exactly what you are being billed for & the amount, otherwise use them at your own risk.

Went here 2 times both times I had surprise bills months later Shady billing, Have an active investigation for fraud with this dentistry.

I hadn't been to the dentist for eight years due to a traumatic experience with losing my hearing in one ear after repeated use of antibiotics for dental premedication at a local dental group. In that time a premolar went from bad to worse. I found myself forced to look for a dentist in Vancouver. Also, in that time many more dentists offer mercury free dentistry. I liked that Dr. Calderone's office is also fluoride free. So, I apprehensively made an appointment. It has been a good choice. I was and am so relieved that Dr. Calderon has the same values as I. She does not use drugs unless they are needed and when I told her I was using garlic to relieve pain and infection until the tooth was treated she advised me to keep doing that until my next appt. So, I have had four teeth done with one left to go. My youngest adult son has had FIVE mercury fillings out with Dr. Calderon. He thinks the world of her and her abilities! He is now mercury FREE :-) Dr. Calderon is quick when she does work in your mouth. (I think it can be a plus that some women dentists have smaller hands btw.) All four teeth I have had done by her have a sort of seamless look and feel. After all I have been through at the hands of mediocre to bad dentists finding Monica Calderon is a huge relief! She's both compassionate and competent. We, my youngest son and I, are very grateful!
