The maintenance team and local staff are amazing, but the corporate policies make things frustrating. My family and I have lived here for 4 years, and recently had a payment mishap which we rectified the next day. Although we had over 3 years of on time payments, we now are forced to use even more complicated means of paying rent, which has led to another mishap in which our check was cut but not received by Summerfield (Bank error). The result of this is fees and frustration, when we genuinely feel like good tenants. In a world where owning your own home is now for the upper class only, micromanaging rental policies and lack of understanding by Summerfield really makes my family and I feel expendable, regardless of how good our rental history is.

I have no problem with maintenance, staff or the community. I give 3 stars because our car was broken into and our garage opener was stolen, we let the front office know they changed the code on our garage door but wanted to charge us for a new opener, so now we don't have one. I use their website to pay rent and they charge a huge fee, it's 55.46 just to submit a payment. I'm sure I can get a check, or pay with cash, but it's so much more convenient to pay online during this pandemic.

We visited our son, who is renting while his house is being built. Clean and nice neighborhood will landscaping spit-spot.
