Rainier Behavioral Health

Nice enough people, but they rip you off. I got an incredibly high bill and they couldn't even explain why I got it. When I dug into it, they still couldn't get me any answers and I had to pay an enormous price for a tiny 10 minute meeting. Never, ever going here again, and I would advise you to stay away and find somewhere else.

I've been seeing Jennifer Irwin here for about a year. She's very kind and encouraging and very smart. I am very comfortable with her and give her care five stars. The staff at this location is also very friendly and attentive and never seem like they don't want to be at work lol. Anyway, don't let the bad reviews fool you, I love this place.

Dr Jennifer Irwin is an exceptional psychiatrist. She has skills on multiple levels, including deep knowledge of medication, non medical therapies and adjunct therapies. She challenges but is empathetic. I cannot recommend her more highly.

Dr. George Jackson was incredibly unprofessional and made me feel absolutely horrible when I came in for mental health resources. He immediately demanded I remove my hood before even entering his office because its "inappropriate in a medical setting" like what? I feel bad for anyone who goes to this office regularly. Extremely unprofessional, rude, and unfair.

I have been going to rainier behavioral health for about 8 years! My counselor Amy Dwyer has saved my life! I can't say enough about Amy and her approach to counseling. Before I met Amy my life was very out of control, or so it felt. With Amy's help I was connected with a psychiatrist within the office (Dr. Taylor but he is no longer there) and finally prescribed a medication that worked! Amy and I have worked on many things over the years and I owe her a debt of gratitude for the way she has changed my life! I am able to do things that I haven't done in 20 years! Thank you Amy, you are a God send!
