Everyone fails to mention this club is PERMANENTLY CLOSED!

This place used to be fit republic. i had had my membership on hold for awhile (paying a nominal fee every month just to keep from having to reopen an acct when i wanted to come back) when ownership changed they started charging me full price without attempting to notify me. a few months went by before i noticed the charges in my bank acct and i got no response when i tried contacting management. I would have considered joining them if they had gotten my consent first but this is beyond shady business practice and edging into the criminal.

I thought gym billing scams went out in the 1990s. Apparently not. I cancelled my and my sons memberships after the basketball team he played with no longer played there. Went through all proper channels. The company then changed ownership or at least their name. Then started getting charged monthly fees again. Have tried numerous emails and phone messages with no response at all but still getting billed.

Unless you plan to go to this gym until you die, dont sign up. I cannot figure out how to cancel my membership. The only person that can cancel memberships is the manager, but the manager does not provide his or her phone number. So you have to cancel via sending a request by email, however the manager does not respond to emails (over the course of months). If I get charged one more time Im going to have to cancel my credit card and get a new one to avoid future charges. Also, the pricing is not straightforward. There is only one bench press in the whole gym. There are only 2 racks to do squats (and one platform).
