Went through our home study with Theodora Drescher. The process quickly got ridiculous and overly invasive. We are a stable family with children already who'd been married ten years. We are are former foster parents and have and roots in our community. Excellent references and background checks. Longtime relationships, friends and professional references. We attend church and coach sports. Regardless of all that Theodora wanted one of us to see a therapist about childhood. We didn't adopt as a result and that's one less kid with a family in the world. I wouldn't recommend Drescher at all, to anyone.
