Let me start off by saying if you pay someone to do your taxes YOU should check to make sure the info is correct before signing. However in my uncles case he is an uneducated Hispanic male and doesnt know what to look for. He signed off on the taxes prepared here. I come to find out 4 months later his son, which is a Jr was put down as head of household and he was put down as the son. We went back to have this fixed, with an amended return which can take 4 months to process. And somehow they still got it wrong. After speaking to the IRS we found out that the original 1040 must be submitted along with the 1040x. And that did not happen. We went back for the 3rd time. He wont be going back, you cant really trust a place after something like this.
