image Please bring back the old menu! This is NOT good Mexican food. I was expecting to order a steak before going to My Fair Lady at the Opera House but instead got a Flank steak that I couldnt eat because it was so dry and hard to chew and a plate of rice. Uggg Ive had better Mexican at Taco Bell. Plus we had to pay $6 for chips and salsa. If you order a taco there are no sides with it. This is not the Davenport Grand that we used to love. Who is running this place? Our bill was over a $100 and we are still hungry.

image Once upon a time, we would always go to Table 13 before a show at the Performance Center across the street. Table 13 was expensive, but the menu was eclectic and delicious. So, we had reservations prior to seeing My Fair Lady (which was a wonderful performance). We already knew what we were going to order for dinner so our mouths were watering for the dishes.
Butour smiles turned to frowns. Since when did Table 13 become Mexican food? Nothing but tacos and Mexican dishes and appetizers. If we wanted Mexican, we would have gone to a Mexican restaurant. We started with chips and salsa. They were like any other Mexican place, but Table 13 charges you, where Mexican places just bring it to your table. Our main dishes, a halibut something and a flank steak with corn tortillas were below standards. Plates were unappetizing to look at. Not plated well. Lots of dry Mexican rice and tasteless black beans. Basically, a Mexican restaurant would have cried if it delivered food like this. Still, overpriced, but not in a good way that makes it worth it. $100 for a bad Mexican dinner for 2 which included 2 bar drinks.
I sure hope Table 13 realizes this terrible mistake and goes back to a menu that is worthy of a Davenport Hotel inside restaurant. We will not be going back until then.

image Absolutely delicious!!! Our server, Victoria, was awesome and made sure we were happy with our food and overall experience. What an amazing, authentic, and wonderful experience to eat dinner at Table 13! Strongly recommend the carne asada and the passion fruit margarita!!!!

image The food here is simply sub standard, especially for the price. We ordered the table side guacamole served in a volcanic molcajete, it came to the table pre made (not made table side) and in a simple white bowl (not a volcanic molcajete). It was fine, nothing special and certainly not worth $14. We also ordered the queso fundito. It came in a small cast iron skillet. It wasnt terrible but it was very thick and required a fork to apply it to a (store bought) chip. It was not served with chorizo despite being advertised as such. To drink we ordered two flights of margaritas which were very strong and probably the highlight of the night. For entrees we ordered 3 types of tacos, one pork, one beef, and on fish. The fish one was absolutely awful. It tasted like the fish may have gone bad. All tacos were sereved with no sides on thin untreated corn tortillas. The beef one was okay the pork one somewhat edible. For desert we ordered the churros. They were not at all like churros. They tasted like old crumbly bread and were served with 3 dips of which only one was good. In the end we left $175 poorer, still hungry and wildly unsatisfied. Will never return and honestly you should avoid.

image The new theme is not off to a great start. We seated by the windows and the was cold air blowing down on us. We asked about it and were told they would check on it. Nothing ever happened so we ended up eating dinner in our coats. Annoying but not a huge deal. Drinks took 15 minutes because bar backed up. I had a mezcal/tequila/aperol drink that only tasted like watered down mezcal. My girlfriend got a Riesling that didnt taste at all like a Riesling. Didnt have another 15 minutes to send it back.
The fundito appetizer was good but nothing special. Side plates would have been nice so you didnt have to catch dripping cheese in your hand.
We tried three tacos. Carne asada had grilled meat and not much else. Carnitas were good but lacked flavor. Crab was plentiful but aside from crab no other flavor.
Desserts looked good but we were over an hour in to meal and had to go.
Overall it was underwhelming and $110 for taco meal/tip. There are much better options nearby.
