Called three weeks ago to inquire about new patients. I was told that they were taking new patients but the Dr's decide who they will take. I called twice weeks later and was told it will take a couple of weeks to decide. After the wait I was told they will not take me. I have to wonder why? I'm insured by my employer. I have no pre existing conditions. I take no medication.

Dr. Lehman is the best doctor Ive ever had. She genuinely listens and cares, and she doesnt try and dismiss you or rush you through appointments. I would recommend her to anyone!

I have seen Dr Harrison for almost 30 yrs. I recently retired and found out she will not be renewing her contract with UHC so I am left seeking a new doctor Try finding a new doctor who is actually taking new patients!! Impossible. I finally found one.....my first appointment is next MAY. Frustrated that reimbursement from medicare is more important than caring for patients.

Says that they are excepting new patients. Called to establish care and was told they would call me back. Over the course of 11 days I had to call 4 separate times to inquire about my status. They called me back on day 12 and told me they would not accept me as a new patient because their schedules are too busy at the moment. Incredibly unprofessional. Grateful that I dodged the bullet. Receptionist was rude and acted as if I was being a bother. Repeatedly said I would be called back, but never was. If they cant manage the new patient process, makes me wonder how they manage ongoing patient care.

Was a past patient here and left to go to the Native Project as I am Native American. Trying to establish care closer to home. I am a healthy person who is over 40 (but under 50) but was not accepted back as a patient. I was given the suggestion to go to an Internal Medicine Specialist to seek care due to my age even though I have NONE of the ailments that would be seen by that kind of specialist. When I called back to ask for clarification on this decision I was just told that the dr OFTEN makes that suggestions to people over 40. Often? How many people over the age of 40 are getting turned down at this medical office and why? No other explanation is being given to me for refusing care. I find this model of healthcare extremely unfair and quite questionable. Is that even legal to deny care due to age?
