Ms. Wakefield-Nichols was the appointed GAL in my divorce and custody case in 2010. This was a high-conflict divorce from an individual with narcissistic personality disorder. She demonstrated no knowledge or understanding of this disorder. Her report was full of errors and clearly disproved by facts of the case. She did nothing to advocate for my daughters and failed them horribly. Now, five years later, we are still left dealing with the chaos created in the wake of her complete failure to find the truth and advocate for my children. I would avoid using her for an attorney or a GAL at all cost. She does not even deserve the one-star rating I am forced to give her here.

I would have to agree with the other review on here. Christine was appointed GAL on a high conflict custody case. Our lawyer told us she asked her colleagues about Christine as a GAL and colleagues told her they hope her client has a big house and a lot of money because Christine tends to favor the more wealthy parent. This proved to be true, Christine was completely biased, unprofessional, basically gave one party absolutely no chance. She made a horrible recommendation that I cannot believe any judge would agree with. (The GAL and judge admitted they were friends in their personal lives) I find the other review left to be very telling, it leaves to me believe Christine is sadistic and just enjoys making decisions that destroy lives, with no regards for the children involved and regardless of the parenting abilities of either parent. She cares only about the party who has money and will ruin the life of the less wealthy parent (and the child's relationship with that parent while she's at it). Her report like the other review was full of errors, twisted truths and ignored facts. It is sad that money plays such a huge role in the courts regarding child custody. I bet Christine sleeps well at night because she doesn't seem to have one ounce of real empathy and enjoys ruining lives. Avoid choosing her as your GAL!
