Went for breakfast. Nice clean place and the service was great. Outside seating nice on a beautiful day.

They automatically charge 20% gratuity and the only service I got was they brought my food out. I placed order, I threw away my trash, and I got my own drinks. And I always tip at least 20% when I eat at a restaurant that actually services me. But to make it mandatory for no real service is not appropriate.

Ive been to Citizen several times over the years but I usually sit outside and grab drinks on nice days. Love their outdoor area its huge and inviting. I highly suggest checking it out! Sorry no pictures of outside. I decided to try breakfast and Im glad I did. The meals were so different then your average breakfast spot. You order on your phone and they bring the meal out on compostable plates so nothing fancy. Its nice to pay right from your phone. Good for bigger groups but not much seating for bigger groups. Service was average they didnt do much. The meals were good. Waffles were the base with a large selection of toppings. I got the Turkey which was actually really good!
