Our experience working with Don was nothing short of outstanding! Moving from Austin to Seattle, our family knew practically nothing about the plethora of unique and distinct neighborhoods. We did some internet research which fell woefully short on the real-world, real-time insights that Don was able to provide based on his decades of local market knowledge. He took the time to get to know our family of four personally and individually; our history, our priorities, our tastes, even what we like to do for fun. Then he customized his pros & cons for each house and neighborhood relating it to how it might fit into our lifestyle. He not only knew what each neighborhood is like now, but also is well-versed in the city’s future development plans as it relates to future re-zoning, infrastructure/light rail additions, and investment potential. Moreover, and maybe most impressive of all, Don made us feel like we were his top priority at all times. We visited dozens of homes each week for nearly two months straight, yet he never made us feel like we were putting him out. In fact, quite the opposite. He genuinely wanted to make sure we landed on the perfect home for us. The market was super-hot this summer and he was our trusted advisor throughout the process. In one instance, during a multiple offer “bid war” situation, he even advised us NOT to make an offer on a home that we were on the fence about, telling us to sleep on it and wait for better options to come online. He was so right! He is patient, strategic, and very warm. I whole-heartedly recommend Don as a Seattle-area real estate expert, and as a great guy to have on your team.
