Let me start off by saying that I have a very mixed review of David Rose Photography.
The Good: My photos were absolutely beautiful and I was given a CD with all my images with over 1,000 images. David's price was very reasonable for how beautiful the images are, which is why we chose to go with him in the first place.
The Bad: David is extremely awkward to work with. I had a very hard time communicating with him. He made my fiance and I, as well as member's of our family and bridal party uncomfortable, which unfortunately is visible in some of our more formal pictures.
Also, David was late the day of my wedding. He called me 30 mins prior to when he was supposed to arrive to inform me that he was having transportation trouble and would be late. He ended up being 30 minutes late, but fortunately I had planned enough buffer time that this ended up not being a huge deal.
The very very bad: As soon as the wedding was over, David was a total flake. Our contract specified we would receive a CD with all images on it in 6 weeks, I didn't get it until 8 weeks later after much nagging at him for it. David advertised that he does these beautiful photobooks, so I ordered one. He charged me $100 extra dollars (because I wanted to add more photos than were included in the original price) and then took 3 more weeks to send me the digital proof of the book. Well, its now 3 months later and I just received my photobook today...it is good quality but he put absolutely no effort into the design. The photos look like they were just copied and pasted directly onto the photobook page with no additional thought into design. There are awkward white blocks on the pages where the photo doesn't completely cover the page, and these is no design, just one photo per page, in the same style the entire book. I was heartbroken when I opened it today.
Overall, I would not recommend David. While his photos are beautiful, the extra stress he has caused me was not worth his cheaper price. This kind of stress is the absolute last thing a Bride, or newlywed wife needs/wants.
