Great atmosphere supported by a very kind and attentive wait staff. Despite the vast majority of the experience to be superb the food was not. We had their chicken which was very sinewy and looked like the left over bits after they've been mangled by a very imprecisely wielded meat cleaver. The chicken was so overcooked that the outer layer had dried out and became overly chewy. The flavors of every dish we tried were bland with the strongest flavour coming through from their pickled items and even then it wasn't a very appealing spice mix. The sushi wasn't impressive and I feel you can get better from a grocery store. The dessert (mango sponge) was astoundingly bland and tasted nothing of mango. The cocktails we had were very good and if you're looking for a nice drink and not food it's great. It was sadly an overall disappointing experience for us especially since everything but the food was so nice.
