I consider myself really lucky to have found David. Wanting to learn in your 40s is daunting enough, but David has incredible patience and knowledge. He has multiple ways to explain concepts and techniques and he never talks down to you and understand when life and work impacts your practice routines. David is a fantastic teacher. As a beginner, I was skeptical of starting guitar lessons in a virtual format but David makes the experience seamless and his teachings seem tailored to the individual so you can go at your own pace. He is super knowledgeable, patient and makes the learning process fun. I would recommend David to anyone looking to get started on guitar!

Best thing about COVID is that I was able to get a lesson spot with David, at last. I was not sure if Zoom lessons would be viable, but I find they really work great. He is able to see and hear, very well, what I am doing and can give really good feedback. I don't waste time traveling to and from his studio and am able to show up with various gear, from the comfort of my home. The only drawback is that we have never met in person, and he is such a nice guy, that I will hope to do so one day. Anyway, he is a really good teacher, and has guided me into being a much better player and helps me to continuously learn new skills.

I studied with David for around 4 months. He was instrumental in getting me out of a playing rut and gave me great inspiration for the band im putting together now. Genuinely awesome guy who will show you tons of amazing music and pass on the wisdom he has from years of being a professional musician. If you get the chance, take lessons with David.

Dave is the man. He teaches you the right way to learn how to do things so you can learn efficiently. Two months with him and I can play and understand barre chords, learned pentatonic scales, and every lesson he cleans up any technique issues he sees. If you are trying to get seriously good fundamentally at guitar so you can create your own stuff...Dave's the guy. He also has extensive songwriting experience and all of my songwriting has improved with easy to understand music theory that will add to your toolbox from day one.
