I'm so happy to have found Off the Wall. Awesome place to not only take lessons, but having access to practice rooms is wonderful for me and those students who don't have a piano yet. Chris was very welcoming when I came by for the first time.

Speaking solely from the perspective of the practice room rentals, which are open for the general public to reserve, I have been nothing short of satisfied with the quality of the pianos and the amenities. Most of them are in working condition and rarely have there been any issues in locating a vacancy, even at the last minute. I would recommend the school for anyone interested in getting some practice on a piano that's not the usual one you typically practice on.

Best place in the city to learn an instrument. Plus, these top-notch practice pianos are available for use outside of lesson times. Friendly and clean environment.

I really hate to write this negative review since the other reviews suggest they're doing good work teaching music to the next generations. But, I have to be honest and this review is solely for their piano practice rooms that are available to rent by the hour. For lessons and other instruments, please refer to the other reviews.I'm new to the city and it's incredibly hard to find real modern pianos to practice on that are available for the public and I didn't have one of my own. This was the only business that I could find that would allow this through google search. While I am grateful for this since I needed to audition for a piano program, there is a lot that could be done to improve the pianos. I've tried both the 'grand piano' room and the pianos in the basement. All had problems with keys not being able to be played, unadjustable seats, hammers not responding as well, and pedal problems (there was one upright that very bad pedal). The tones are also very off. If I had a child, I would not bring them to learn or practice piano in the studios where they rent their rooms to the public. I'm not sure if the pianos in the other rooms are better. Regardless, I am sincerely hoping they could maintain their pianos and keep them in good condition. I do have to say their reservation system was very convenient and tech-friendly, so that was a plus.---Update: One of the employees reached out to me and said they have monthly maintenance on the pianos. They also mentioned the piano rental rooms are not advertised for professional use but are moreso for their students to practice in.
