        I have ordered with good success from the The Flower Lady before. Process was smooth and easy online. Unfortunately, this time was not. Placed an online order for my wife's birthday several days in advance. But the flowers were never delivered despite the email confirmation and the charge to my CC. Called the next day to ask what happened and was told that there must have been some kind of printer error. Disappointing, because if I had never called then the order would have never been processed. Makes me less likely to repeat order from them in the future.

        A simple "We are so sorry that happened" goes a long way to keep customers and/or gain new ones with good reviews. This company was listed as a vendor on Door Dash for delivery to Swedish. For reasons I won't expand on here, my daughter never received them. When I called Flower Lady for help and to ask if the arrangement was returned to them or if they know of anything, the man on the phone was so RUDE and UNEMPATHETIC, saying "we took the order and filled it, we did our part". Now, I understand if it is out of their control, HOWEVER, a simple, "I am so sorry, we have no control" or even 'fake' looking into it would have gone a long way to provide some kind of customer service. So while it may have been out of their hands, I would never trust using this company for anything ever again if they can't say a simple "We are so sorry that happened". This is the Capital Hill Chill people speak of.

        I always stress when sending flowers sight unseen. It's a control thing. Just wanted to send my daughter a little something - that didn't cost a hundred bucks. So glad that I found The Flower Lady. BEAUTIFUL tulips, delivered EXACTLY as requested that didn't break the bank. Couldn't be more pleased.

        I had a wonderful experience when I stopped by near closing time the other day, looking for a thank-you bouquet. I wanted to pick out the flowers myself, and the employees were very kind to offer advice, information on pricing, etc. and then they just let me do my thing. The bouquet was absolutely beautiful and the price was more than fair. I will definitely be back!

      Hi Angelina,I apologize for the interaction that you experienced with our employee. Anytime something goes wrong, my staff staff usually do extend their empathy first and foremost so I am not sure what was going on here but will look into it immediately. In regards to DoorDash, they are a third party delivery service and are responsible for the full delivery. Their customer service will refund you in whole and will push through a new delivery request. If you have not already contacted them, now would be the time to do that. Hospitals are usually a tricky delivery and we don’t choose to deliver to them, DoorDash requires it (since it is their drivers). My guess is that the flowers are sitting at the security desk but again we don’t know since we don’t have any of the recipient information. If you’d like to come to our shop for a bouquet I would be delighted to send you off with one for free as an apology for your interaction with us.
