Clinical Lab and Blood Draw at UW Medical Center - Roosevelt

Staff was friendly , knowledgeable and efficient. Urine sample can be left in window though the washroom. Lab draws are usually not painful. Have not needed to be poked more than once.

If a lab could get zero stars, its this one. One time I left and they called me 1 hour into my drive home..so sorry we didnt get everything. Then two other different blood draws they didnt properly store vitamin b after taking it. And now this: I said I needed all lab work done from all my doctors..I named all of them. Reminded them I have one vein and rarely can do blood draws due to the poor shape that one vein is in.they got 3 things out of around 20 that should have been done. Oopsdidnt see all those labs form that doctor. All of my doctors are at UW and in the system. Over and over and over again.

My personal experience involved a fair amount of chaos and lack of consistent communication for quite a while, but once that was sorted out things were great. The staff and nurses are friendly and the building has a nice atmosphere. Also, I don't remember her last name but there's an MA named Hannah who works in the URC and she is the absolute tops- if you get Hannah, you're in great hands!
