Feierabend

Fereabend was an incredible place to grab a German beer and eat German food. Sadly, the owner announced its closure in December of 2020 (photo attached). Please visit their other locations Prost! Phinney Ridge, Die Bierstube, and Prost! West Seattle for similar awesome experiences!!

SO UNFORTUNATE: Another casually of COVID. A great place closed... I was out for a walk in Seattle and was making my way back to the hotel, after a stop at REI. A name like Feirerabend was bound to catch my eye. Very nice inside, a touch of Europe (but maybe a pinch overdone). I decided to have a beer. Great selection of German beers on tap and bottles. If you only look for US craft beers you need to find someplace else. Me, I am flexible. So I was happy and impressed with the selection. I did not try the food but the menu was tempting. Standard Gasthaus fair with some German/American fusion looking offerings. Cool. I liked the place and I will try the food next trip.

1/30: I'm very sad to say this place has closed.... I just walked by tonight... 😔 Really sad to see them go they had fantastic German food. I love this place I've gotten the bratwurst with potato salad and sauerkraut many times it's delicious. I hope they are able to persist throughout the pandemic through these hard times. The food is great support these guys!

Today our 2 year old was crying, and we were told that he needed to step outside until he stopped crying 'because this is a restaurant'.
