Handled and coordinated a FSBO without hitches. It was also complicated by a 1031 exchange. Our escrow was headed by Patty O'young. She is assisted by Samantha. Patty, was always on top of any communication and answered emails, texts and phone calls in an extremely timely manner. I would highly recommend her.

Wow, I can't say enough about how great Patty has been. She definitely went above and beyond on helping us work through and find a great solution to a a mortgage matter that didn't even relate directly to our escrow transaction and in doing so, we saved a lot of money. In terms of our transaction with her, she was super responsive to our emails, her follow-up was fantastic, and she was downright lovely to work with. She explained every element of our final transaction with great clarity. Our experience with Columbia Escrow was A+!

Absolutely terrible closing experience with this company, very unprofessional and inefficient. We were closing another property with First American at the same time and the service we got from First American is absolutely terrific compared to Columbia Escrow. When we needed to add a document, First American prepared everything and sent them to us to sign eletronically, but Columbia Escrow not only provided zero assistance on that which is their job, and they must need a request in writing to help us prepare the document, otherwise we have to prepare them ourselves with no assistance from Columbia Escrow at all. And in the end, both First American and Columbia Escrow were instructed to send the closing documents to a specific address, and unsurprisingly First American sent it to the right address and Columbia Escrow sent it to the wrong address. It created so much hassle for us to get the documents back, which includes a check in there. Never going to choose it again or recommend it to anyone.
