image This place was a real bummer. We did the space wars room and there were multiple technical difficulties and mistakes in the room. One part of the room hadnt been reset since the last game. Another part had a trigger that didnt work 90% of the time. Another part had a button that was sticky and took some finessing. One puzzle was turned on before it was supposed to be. There was also a sign that we needed to solve the room but someone from a previous party had removed it and nobody working there noticed when they reset it. I feel bad for Mindy, the poor employee there who probably thought my group was a huge bunch of idiots because she didnt realize the sign was missing or that the room hadnt been reset correctly and she had to give us multiple hints that were actually her just telling us what to do. Mindy was very nice and helpful and it was not at all her fault that we had a bad experience. In fact, she mentioned that she purchased the candy for the front desk with her own money because people like it so much, which was sweet. She also mentioned that the space wars room usually has a lot of issues, which made me think that maybe they just shouldnt have this room up and running until everything was fixed.

image Having done over 30 escape rooms this one is a must visit. We liked it so much we booked a 2nd one for the very following day. Mindy the gamemaster was amazing.

image We did the space wars escape room and it was really cool to see all the puzzles and props. Mindy did such a good job managing all the rooms by herself. We will def go back. Also, love the dragon in the lobby.

image Amazing!! Sam and the other person when we were there were so great and accommodating!!
We had planned a birthday party for our 10 year old and some friends to do the Wizarding School escape room and as they were younger, the puzzles became increasingly challenging beyond their abilities. Only 1 of the kids had done an escape room before. They were given a little extra time and at the end were helped through to see the conclusion of the room. They all had a blast and now want to do more escape rooms!
A few tips:
- It can be tricky to find the first time if you've never been there but there's a sign on the sidewalk pointing to the door to go in and then a small sign posted on the window with instructions for how to get into the building. Then you take the elevator to Suite 'B' :)
- When I called to learn more / make the reservation, I was told that there was no party space to use at the SLU location but that is not the case. The lobby / waiting area has plenty of tables and chairs and that space can be rented out.
- In retrospect, it would have been an awesome idea to schedule 2 escape rooms for the same time - 1 for the kids to do, and 1 for that parents to do while the kids were in their room. I'll definitely keep that in mind the next time I schedule this for a kids party.
Can't wait to come back and try the other escape rooms!
