The Studio Seattle

Great acting classes. They start building skills from the ground up, laying the foundations. I just wish the classes were longer or more frequent.

I have completed Foundations 1 & 2 at The Studio Seattle and cannot speak highly enough about this program and instructors.   Alana's deep understanding of theory and process offers the groundwork to feel comfortable and prepared for the deeper work in Foundations 2, while Aaron has a magical way of balancing thoughtful and respectful lessons with a humility and irreverence that creates a joyful space to learn and try new things. Thank you, Andrew for creating a welcoming, enriching, and intensive space in Seattle.

I have taken quite a few acting classes at this point, but The Studio Seattle has been by far the best. These teachers genuinely care about you and the art and it shows. Highly recommend auditioning to take a class if you are able to.

I've just finished the first two acting foundation classes as the Studio Seattle, both offered in person, along with audition workshops offered by the studio director. The instruction is outstanding: highly challenging and a great opportunity for participants to brush up on their skills or professionalize their approach. The instructors are remarkably generous in offering their time and help, even outside of class. It's been a thrilling experience and has helped me prepare for the next steps. The approach is based on the instructors' experience with the University of Washington's MFA in Acting program, with a solid and consistent theoretical basis and genuine care for the students. I'd recommend this program to anyone willing to work hard to develop their acting chops.
