Yikes, dont call asking about enrollment unless you want a sob story about how no one wants to work. Puts a stain on the entire Whizz kids brand for me.

My two small children attended Whizz Kids over a four year period and we highly recommend Whizz for the nurturing and professional staff and fun and educational environment. Our kids learned lots of tools for dealing with difficult feelings, practical skills (toileting, dressing), and just had a lot of fun. The kids love the proximity to the big playfield and playground nearby.

The people who interact with my child are amazing. My son is in the waddler room, and he is thriving! My only dissappointment is that they will not support early potty training, despite being told otherwise when I was first visiting. Flash forward several months and now it's not an option. We're sad that we're going to have to leave because of this.

My daughter started there three years ago, so she's gone through each classroom. My son just started in the one-year-old room. I was anxious when looking for childcare a few years ago, but Whizz Kids is great. We did enroll our daughter at a different, larger school for a while so that she and her brother could go to the same place until he was old enough for WK. We chose to come back and are happy there. Great things about WK: - Three of the teachers have been there for at least as long as we have and I think they're all great: Maura, Mara, and Kelsey. Wonderful, upbeat, and so caring with the kids. - I'm happy that the overall focus is on social and emotional learning and play. I am less concerned about specific academic goals, although I think that my preschooler is doing very well in spite of or maybe because of not being pressured. She loves to practice writing for instance, and is given plenty of encouragement and opportunities there. - The school may be located below street level, but environment inside is bright and filled with interesting artwork and materials for the kids. If you tour when there aren't a lot of kids there or at naptime, this might be less obvious. - The big playground across the street! I haven't seen a center around with anything better. The kids also go on walks to the library, grocery store, Ella Bailey Park, and sometimes the beach. - Being in Magnolia, the kids are exposed to less noise and pollution from traffic, than in some other areas.
