Don't use this dying boomer app unless you want to lose money, get a headache and ruin your vacation/travel. Use booking or airbnb, expedia is the worst of the worst.

I booked a hotel room with AARP who uses Expedia. After booking I noticed that the day was wrong. I called Expedia to correct the date.
I was given the runaround by Expedia, the hotel and AARP
I just wanted to change my check in date. They all refused to do this
So I have to pay $351.90 for a room I'll not be sleeping in .
This is how the company makes the money, by scamming people with their no refund Claus
This company uses this Claus to take and keep customers money
I looked up the corporate office and it seems to be based in India
So I suspect that we're being legally scammed.

NEVER book with Expedia. You cannot get a refund if you experience any issues with the service provided. Your hotel/flight/cruise WILL treat you poorly because you booked 3rd party.
Your only option is a credit card charge back.
Update : After filing a complaint with BBB towards the hotel, I was finally able to get a refund. Expedia did NOTHING to help my case.
Never book 3rd party.

I booked Executive room in Wales (Novotel) from 2nd April to 5th April 2024 , through Expedia, the room was not as described, my kid have to sleep on small single bed, where, as per booking, it should be double sofa bed, and as per booking, there should be separate living area, but not, Coffee machine was not working, on Top AC only giving hot air, it was too hot, we have to leave window and Room door open, so that our kids can sleep, when I spoke to hotel they said there is problem in Ac , we cant do anything because there is no similar room available, when I tried to contact Expedia, after 2-3 hour of conversation they said we cant do anything Only can refund you about few quid, Connect to online chat agent around 11pm, said they can connect me to relocation team, but unfortunately they dont pickup call, finally they said Manager can speak to me and solve my issue but Regrettably (I dont know if he was manager or not) 1st he says he cant do anything because you paid to hotel and you have to speak to them, when I remind him that I booked through Expedia he says only can compensate with few pounds nothing else. When I ask him his email or contact details, he refuses to give me
At last, I will say to whole world , save yourself, dont book with Expedia and their partners , even if they offer you free of cost , no one from their team is capable to solve your problem, they only can offer 15 to 20 as compensation nothing else. Or they will say we dont have authority please speak to him or her and keep on doing this.
Dont do any booking with Expedia or their partners. Im stuck here now and have to find another hotel to stay, Its hard to spare some free time with family, but they messed up my holidays.

I am (was) very disappointed in the way you manage certain things. I received an email from Expedia explaining that my OneKeyCash was about to expire. I called customer service and spoke to an agent. After explaining my situation to the agent (cancer survivor) I was told that there were not activities on my account. I informed the agent that I haven't been able to use my onekeycash award due to my condition and I haven't been able to travel because of it. I asked the agent if there was a possibility that they could have extended it for a short period of time so I wouldn't lose it and the agent reply that they did not have that option. I just want you to remember your Vision/Mission statement, "Driven by the core belief that travel is a force for good, we help people experience the world in new ways and build lasting connections. We provide industry-leading technology solutions to fuel partner growth and success, while facilitating memorable experiences for travelers.
UPDATE: On March 27, 2024, a customer service representative from Expedia called me in regard to my onekeycash account. The lady was very professional and understood my concerns. I appreciated that she took the time to listen and hear my concerns. Not only was she willing to extend my onekeycash but she assisted me with some monetary assets for future use. This is the type of customer service that I really appreciate, caring, understanding compassionate, etc. Therefore, I have upgraded the 1-star rating to a 5 star, because to me that's what they deserve. Thanks again Expedia for assisting me with my issue.
