Our family orders from this counter fairly regularly. Were never disappointed in the food itself that I recall. The chicken street tacos are pretty good (wait, last order they forgot to steam the corn tortillas, but thats a forgivable thing). The fried chicken is good. The burgers are good. The food has been ready for picking up on time usually. I once got a killer deal on a case of beer here because there was some mixup in ordering on their end and they cleared it out. I do wish that certain menu items were available more than one day per week. I can see why this helps them keep inventory in check. But it would be nice if the daily specials rotated so that once in a while could order their burgers on a Friday or Saturday night, not only Wednesday or whatever day they offer burgers. The portions of salad dressing are a tad small, too. About two tablespoons, which is just a wee small. I also wish I could change pickup time at the end of the ordering on the app/website. More than once I have submitted an order not realizing I would be on the hook to get it in 20min when I wanted to pre-order for later pickup. Overall, I do recommend the Counter at OBCC. The food is good and seems reasonably priced and its such a great place to have in this part of town. I dont usually want to use the big delivery chains to bring me local restaurant food. This helps patronize a local business and its a short drive to get the food myself.

We used Old Ballard for a 100+ person student event and they were responsive, easy to work with, and extremely professional from start to finish! The food quality was fantastic and they take extra care in making sure everything looks special for guests! Highly recommend!

Jo Ann has been a joy to work with - very communicative and just a nice person all around. Stephen and his team did a marvelous job with my wedding! The food was delicious and looked amazing! Thank you OBCC!!

Delicious! The food was a highlight at our engagement party. We chose appetizers as it was a hot summer afternoon and we were not disappointed. Everything (including compostable cutlery and plates) plus "sterno" and heating dishes/trays arrived on time and was set up tastefully and professionally. The guests enjoyed a combination of vegetarian and non-vegetarian offerings including sliders, vegetable and cheese platters and several specialty items. I would highly recommend this local family run business (brother and sister) for your catering needs and we hope to use them again in the near future.
