We love the food and the staff. Always get exceptional service. the margarita's are the best! Freshly made tortillas!! Would recommend to friends.

The dining area is pretty cheap in looks and feel. We ordered a starter of guacamole which was $8, which was fresh but came in a very small bowl with a dish of salsa. Also, the chips that came with the guacamole and salsa were store bought. I am used to paying $8 for guacamole at one of the trendy, tasty restaurants, this would be more worth $3-4. I got the carne adovada burrito, which again, tasted very bland and with cheap ingredients. NO where near the $17 I paid.My wife got the red chili and pork tamales, she found a large vein in the meat and also had very bland taste and a high price. The service was also pretty poor, we sat with empty glasses for quite a long time with employees passing us by the whole time. One of the workers was wearing sweat pants during dinner time... All and all, I would not go back to this place or recommend it to anyone. They are trying to be something they are not.

I've been coming to SFC for 25 years or more. That it has existed for that long is the surest sign that it is a fabulous restaurant. It is New Mexican Mexican food. If you come here expecting something else, then you may be disappointed. If you come here knowing what to expect, you'll be delighted. And the staff is always wonderful: friendly, efficient, attentive. Long live SFC!
