Belay Apartments

I'm currently in the market for an apartment somewhere in Seattle and I came across Belay. Unfortunately, it wasn't the right place for me but I did meet with Sharon and toured a couple of their spaces. The amenities looked amazing and Sharon was such a great help in giving my insight into the places and she was extremely knowledgeable about the apartment building. She even gave me some tips on downtown Ballard because I was in new the area. Overall, a great experience!

communication has been great! responses are quick and detailed! I’m pretty satisfied with my new home, I think the only thing that I’m not satisfied with is the amount of noise from the upstairs neighbor in terms of loud footsteps. Otherwise I think the insulation from the street noise is pretty great. I got pretty lucky with move in, was able to park right outside Overall it was a smooth moving experience.

Extremely disorganized management that rarely responds to issues & requests. I have been emailing Belay and Thrive management for months to settle some disputed charges with no response from them - which is pretty typical of our past experiences with Belay/Thrive.

Chris provided exceptional service to my sister and I to help unclog our kitchen sink. Due to COVID-19, Chris was unable to service our apart, but he went out of his way to put a tool in our mailbox that helped resolved the issue right away. Thank you, Chris!

I have lived at the belay apartments for a little over a year now and have had many positive interactions with some of the staff here. Carl, matt and Lawson are great. They are helpful, kind and get back to you on issues in a timely manner. With that being said, unfortunately ever since Jacob the old manager left the new managers have done an awful job handling issues that have happened. Belay management/owners refuse to take more precautions when it comes to the safety of their residents and their possessions. 1. I have had 5 packages stolen from the belay apartments, when inquiring about if we could get the footage pulled I was told “they would work on it”. 2. My car was just recently broken into in the “secured” parking garage that I pay 85 dollars a month to park my car in. My first grievance with this is that in the morning another resident who had her car broken into as well, notified belay management that her car and mine (giving a description of my car and the spot my car was in) had been broken into. Because I am working from home I had not gone down to my car that morning. I went all day not knowing my car window had been smashed and important items stolen. Belay couldn’t give me the courtesy of calling or emailing letting me know they had been told my car had been broken into nor have they contacted me with information about the footage from The cameras 2. My car and the other resident are now on a long list of residents who have had their car windows smashed in and items stolen. Yet there are no other safety precautions taken, no signs or emails notifying the residents that this has been continuing to happen. Owners continue to refuse to put up more cameras and signs to make sure their residents are protected because why? They don’t want to pay for it.. I am moving out at the end of February and hope that the other residents here get more from the managers and owners but highly recommend not moving to Belay Apartments. ✌️
