The apartment building was built some time ago but at least there are the usual phone and cable jacks. It is a semi-secure building, I guess you call it with a key required to enter the common area and from there you can enter your apartment. Low income people can pay lower rent here than at some other places which is nice. Management can be very unprofessional, and maintenance---well it can take a long time to get things fixed. They have a laundry room on the second floor.
The elevator has had some issues and for approximately one year failed to operate properly and at times has been unusable. I was told that one of the Managers got stuck in a while ago. Tenants can get rather noisy at times and the common areas sometimes are not kept clean. Some tenants have moved out because of issues here and there are some that would like to but cannot yet. The Community Room has been closed for access for over one week to the tenants because management allowed the repair of a snow blower there. A significant amount of gasoline was spilled which made a tenant sick and some mess was made on the carpet.
If someone offered a prize for incompetency, I believe management would get it.
