        Bread & Roses is no longer a shelter for women who struggle with mental illness and are homeless, which was their original charter. Homeless women struggling with mental health issues now have 'nowhere' to go. Now it is houses activists... Oh the irony.

        I volunteered at bread and roses kitchen 16 years ago. I returned back to Washington after being gone for several years and was saddened to see the kitchen and house gone.
