Horrible management. Area property manager Jill Hancock has no customer service skills or a care for tenants. She is rude, arguementative, condencending and hires incompetent employees who cannot do their job. 0 stars.

I've lived here for five years, and up until the most recent change in management this place has been wonderful. It sold itself exactly as it was; cheaper than average to offset the simple, unrenovated, 'old fashion' layout. Word among some of us long-time tenants was that the owner(s) planned to demolish the buildings and construct something more 'modern'. Something changed (likely the new apartments throughout Newcastle) and now they want to nickle & dime us without any meaningful renovations. After an initial hike for all the old tenants, they began avoiding obvious hikes by instead adding charges for previously included utilities; Garbage and Water. To be clear, these are minimal hikes, but it's flagrant nickle and diming. All in all I can no longer recommend living here, where-as I used to champion this place when a friend would ask. With more and more apartments becoming available both in Seattle and on the eastside, I recommend looking elsewhere.
