JC did a very professional job. He came home and determined the best places to do the photo shoot taking into consideration natural light, room colors, etc. He was easy going, listened to my preferences and made me feel totally comfortable. I could not be happier with the results, the pictures look fantastic. I strongly recommend JC, I would definitely hire again!

We found J.C. Martin through Thumbtack and we couldn’t have been happier. Having a good wedding photographer is very important, and despite this we waited a bit longer than is typical and we were on a budget. J.C. was creative, enthusiastic and friendly, all while operating subtly in the background in a way that allowed him to capture the entire event without being intrusive in any way. When we looked at the final photographs, we were surprised at some of the shots he got without us even realizing he had been there at a particular moment. Our wedding was also a bit more challenging than most, because although we were married in a very historic church (the oldest in our state) that provided a nice backdrop, we did not use clergy during the ceremony, so the action wasn’t focused in one place, and at one point extended to different people in the congregation who stood up in different places to speak. J.C. also created great posed shots after the wedding and during the reception, again without interfering at all with the flow of the event. The most remarkable thing he did, however, was to go significantly out of his way to do engagement photos for us. As already mentioned, we waited longer than usual to choose a photographer, and because of that neither he nor we thought there would be time to do engagement photographs. However, when J.C. later realized that he would be in Philadelphia for another reason, he proactively contacted us and offered to do engagement photos, which were beautiful and which went up on our wedding web site. When we received the final photos, we hosted a dinner party to show them to the friends who had helped us the most with our wedding, and everyone was impressed as we all enjoyed reliving the event together. The pictures speak for themselves, but what you should know is that J.C. couldn’t possibly have provided us a better experience in producing them. John & Noro

JC covered our engagement photography in Washington DC and did an absolutely brilliant job. He is creative, enthusiastic and professional with his work. He responded quickly to our request and after talking to him over the phone and seeing some of his past works, I already felt confident that he will be the best photographer for our engagement shoot. He proved me right. Right from choosing the locations, to exactly what time of the day which place would give us the best shot, he knew it all. He is very punctual, flexible and a pleasant person open to suggestions. He covered more locations for us than we had planned to and got us many wonderful shots, he also sent us the photographs within 4 days. I would recommend JC to anyone who is looking for a professional and creative photographer.
