        Been living in Mount Vernon for 2 years. First time here and was shocked with the whole experience. The staff was exceptionally fast, friendly, and attentive! The food was fantastic!!

        We accidentally walked in and found it. It's surprising that it's in the Grainery next to the freeway and the bus station. What a classy place.

        Fantastic atmosphere, food, and service! Tony was very personable and had great food and wine recommendations. Easily one of my top favorite restaurants!

        OkayI should start this review off by saying Im a food snob. I love fresh, local food. Im a real farm-to-table kind of gal. My daughter wanted Italian for her birthday dinner so we gave Il Granaio a try. The service was great and our waiter was awesome. The place itself was huge, weirdly laid out, and confusing. The food was not great. It just wasnt. Portions were enormous, if that excites you. Wine selection was decent. Daughter liked the tiramisu.

      Hi Jennifer and thank you for visiting us and leaving a review about your experience. I’m so sorry to hear that you did not enjoy your meal! We have a very large variety of great menu items to choose from. We are about 90% farm to table and even make our own bread in house. I would love to get some more specifics from you on what you ordered and what was lacking if you’d be willing to share. Please email me at [email protected] and share some more specifics so I can follow up with my chef. Our building is also very unique as it is an old grainery that has been transformed into a restaurant. It’s old and rustic but that’s what most people love about it.
