Chan's Chinese & American

This is quite possibly the worst Chinese restaurant I've ever been to. I was dragged there twice by locals, who insisted it was delicious. What I got was awful, terrible, Americanized Chinese food that would be rejected by even Panda Express, which is hardly an example of quality Chinese food. Granted, I knew what I was getting into when I arrived- the name said it all, and the fact that they had conveniently run out of chopsticks (the second time) pretty much sunk the place in my mind before I even tried the food. The Greater Spokane Area is pretty infamous among the circles I run in for bad Chinese food, but Chan's is the worse. Do yourself a favor and go to Seattle, San Francisco, or Honolulu for some quality Chinese food. Your sense of taste will be happier.

Chans is a familiar and well liked restaurant here in medical lake. Mr. Chan gives his customers smiling and efficient service and his wife makes the mouth watering chinese american fare. It is truly a family successful endeavor.

I have had Chinese style food in many places around the world, including Europe. Chan's is on par with most of those places, in my opinion. The food is good portions are generous and not expensive. Mr. Chan and his wife are wonderful and friendly. His place is handy for me, especially if I'm feeling lazy & gluttonous, although I usually order a children's platter which fills me up. The building he's in is a little old, although nicely kept up and decorated. I love this place, and I love supporting a local business. If you're in the Medical Lake area, I'd recommend trying it.

I love Chan's, I have been going to this restaurant for most of my life. I had to move away because of the military, and I cannot find any chinese food like his anywhere else. I love the eggrolls, almond chicken, sweet and sour chicken, rice, everything!!! I know not everyone loves Chan's, but it is my favorite. Mr. Chan and his wife are always so nice to me and my family when we come in too!
