There are pretty much the only game in town, so Dave seem to take their customers for granted. Their stock of materials is "hit or miss", and they seem to not know when addition material will arrive.

Just called to ask if they would have compost in stock and get a price quote...Dave was quite rude and short with me on the phone, didn't seem like he was interested at all in making a sale or communicating with a potential customer. Maybe he was just grumpy and having a bad day, but judging by the other reviews it seems like this is a regular occurrence. Normally I don't write reviews for anything, but I felt compelled after being treated so rudely for no reason. Take your business elsewhere if you can...seems like this place is destined to fail unless the owner gets his act together and learns how to properly interact with customers. Lame!

Terrible customer service. So so so rude on the phone! I would think he would want a sale on slow times like these, don’t recommend at all. Just terrible.

The owner is not very easy to talk to. Kind of rude. During the 8 calls previous to my delivery it didn't seem like he knew who he was speaking to. After receiving my delivery of his "compost" I was dissatisfied, so decided to call. The compost still stinks like manure, and has alot of wood chips that "snap" which tells me it wasn't "composted" . I was met with responses like "yea?" and " well, your the first to complain", and "the wood chips hold the moisture". If you want good compost, I would just go to the grow store and get them to order you a few pallets. At least the quality will be better, and you will probably end up spending the same price.

The main guy on site is a super nice guy, and is always helpful. I order rock or gravel from them every year. They always deliver when they say they will and even call when they're on their way.
