Kumon Math and Reading Center of ALDERWOOD

Rubina & her family are wonderful mentors and necessary help for my daughter. My daughter has shown great amounts of improvement, and she looks forward to going to her Kumon sessions each week. I highly recommend Rubina, her family & Kumon to your kiddos. Also, this will be explained while signing up, is for your family to be dedicated and consistent when it comes to the at-home work. There is only so much the teacher may do during sessions, and it is up to your family and you (as the parent) to remain consistent and efficient with the tutoring, and after school help in order for your child to succeed.

I had my child go in for an evaluation and left during it. I would NEVER take my children somewhere they are not respected and treated kindly! My child actually asked to leave, when he was previously excited to be there. The owner/tutor didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was there or explained what was going to take place. She just had her receptionist take my son back to the room she was in. When he got back there she handed him a paste of paper and told him to go sit. She never explained anything to either of us about what was going on. We were under the impression that it was 1 on 1 tutoring tutoring but that is definitely not the case they were multiple kids in the room. When I made the appointment I made it directly with the owner but when we got there she had no idea what we were there for, mind you she asked for all the details when I made the appointment over the phone. When I told her we were going to leave she acted like it was stupid of us to do that and even rolled her eyes at me. As for the receptionist was doing her best to be kind but she was obviously irritated with the children sitting in the waiting room and was unknowledgeable of what they provided at the location. Every question I asked her, her response was oh my boss will tell you; mind you the "boss" never came out until we were leave.

My son attends this location. I'm very happy with his excitement to learn and I see progression, it's exciting. His reading skills have greatly improved. Very happy with the program format.

My daughter has been going to this center for around 4 and half years now. She loves going to this center and always excited to work with Ms.Rubina, the Center Director and Ms.Masheeb, from her team. I am so impressed with how Ms.Rubina remembers each and every student and she takes keen interest in the development of her all students. My daughter's math skills have got improved so much since she started Kumon and she is all independent with her works. Her reading skills have got massively improved and improving day by day, which is helping my daughter to succeed in her school grades. I am totally happy to be here. Ms.Rubina and her team is always open to discuss and to help my daughter with her works, both math and reading. I will continue to work with Ms.Rubina and her family and sure will recommend this center to my friends !!
