Romano's Macaroni Grill

Dining service is hit and miss at this place. We had a awful time the last time we were here for dinner a month ago and it ruined out night. We waited 45 minutes and had to ask what was going on when other people came after us were seated before us. The girl that wrote down our name some how had crossed it off and told us she had already called our name. That did not happen as we were sitting 4 feet away on the bench waiting the whole time. She never apologized. We were then seated in what appeared to be no man's land because there were five servers in the area and none of them stopped by our table. We finally flagged down a manager to tell her we had been seated for ten minutes with no service. Afterwards, one server after another came to our table asking is if we had been helped. The whole experience frustrated me and just put a bad taste to my dinner. Again, to be fair, obviously it doesn't always happen like this, but one bad experience can alter a person's opinion and habit. Considering that i already didn't care for the food here, i don't think I'll be back for dining. On the bright side, the $5 pizza and $4 loaded fries during happy hours are good deals here. So I'll be back to the bar for happy hour. 7/3/2019 -- updated to add happy hour food pictures

Great happy hour options and Thursday dinner special was an unexpected bonus. Our server was above and beyond with perfect timing and enchanting personality. My Manhattan was one of the best I've ever had and the Rosemary sprig really wanted the bouquet.

We had a big group here for lunch, they were quick and split the bill for us without asking! The only complaint was there were quite a bit of fruit flies around the restaurant, but in my experience, that comes from having lots of open wine in the bar so there isn't really anything they could do about it. I had the chicken caesar salad from the lunch menu and it was a big portion of chicken!

No host at the front desk. We waited for close to ten minutes before going to the Cheesecake factory. Two helpless employees circling the area, desperately trying look to busy to notice the growing crowd in the lobby. Nobody blamed them because it's so obviously managements failure. I noticed a five star rating got a $5 coupon for an online order. While people that left because the Macaroni grill can be too incompetent to greet guests and respect there time get a genetic excuse. Poor form management.

Happy hour has great variety and portions are huge for the price. Waitresses at the bar radiate positive energy, they were such a joy to be around when I needed a moment to recharge. :)
