If your looking for a room and a cute spot it is great. However, the owner is not friendly and the food is lack luster like out of a box and super small portions. We ordered a 145$ birthday package and received Safeway cupcakes, ice cream, champagne, and flowers in a vase we couldn't take home. Very cheap. We called to check in early, their signs say 3, and never received a call back. When we showed up we were very rudely received and sent away. I was very unimpressed. I would appreciate much kinder and friendlier service during covid times. My money is hard earned and shouldn't be an inconvenience to spend especially when many aren't spending. I wouldn't spend my money here again.

Second to none! We have been visiting for 20 years. There is no place we would rather stay. During COVID breakfast is hot, homemade and wonderful in eco friendly containers. The rooms are upscale, private and clean. The showers and hot tubs are not to be missed. Sitting on the balcony this year we saw deer, bear and heron. Best of all the innkeepers Jan and Steve are warm, friendly and welcoming. An absolutely wonderful place to stay!

I had only been on the property for minutes when staff member rushed out from the building to berate me for being close to a deer. I walked down a path within a few yards of the main building, turned around and saw a deer had come down the same path towards me. The staff member told that I would lead to the death of the deer by making it less afraid of humans. There was no welcome, no hello, just an unjustified haranguing for a deer coming near to me. No politeness, really just a diatribe from a staff member to a guest. If your idea of a vacation is to be harassed by a staff member then this is the place for you. The actual facilities were good, but it’s difficult to have a good stay when you are treated like this.
